Terrible experience

We bought a dining table from this company and received totally broken and shattered . It is hard to get to live person and you have to wait long time answer the email . They delivered glass dining table totally shattered and even on the delivered box had written shattered and damaged it means they already knew that shipped item is broken but just wanna play with costumer ‘s money for 20 days or maybe longer . They offer you 10 % discount for totally shattered table I can attached all photos . It is embarrassing and I wish somebody stop this company to send broken and damaged item to customer. They request photos again and again and ask you to keep shattered glasses in your apartment till final decision .finally after lots of email conversation and talk with Amazon representative they accept to refund . That is terrible experience no respect to customer . Better stay away from them . I have lots of photos and I wish I could attached all those here .

2 of the items delivered with significant damage, no phone number to call, it takes them weeks to get back to you via email. They provide wrong order statuses and invalid shipping info. Trying to get a refund without any luck at this point

Satisfied

Was very pleased with the dresser I ordered.It took me and my daughter about 3 hours to finish which wasn't so bad.

I purchased a desk and hutch from this…

I purchased a desk and hutch from this company through Amazon. The desktop was damaged (split in two) upon arrival. I immediately contacted the company via Amazon for a replacement piece. If it wasn't for getting Amazon involved I'd still be waiting on a reply from this company. Almost two weeks later and everything has been boxed up and ready to be picked up and a full refund expected. I'm having issues getting a refund on the hutch, which is worthless without a desk. Again, I'm thankful Amazon is involved to help me as this company, and their customer service, is lacking. I don't recommend purchasing from Cymax because resolving a problem with them is a nightmare!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I ordered a desk from them. It was listed as in stock. Two days later, I checked my order on their web site and it said my desk would be shipped in 5 months. I contacted customer service and I received 4 different emails. 1) Your order is delayed. 2) Your order has been cancelled. 3) We made a mistake and it has shipped. 4) Your order has been cancelled.
This caused a ton of work for me, because each time I had to take a different action. I ordered the desk from another vendor, cancelled the order and ultimately had to order it again.
The icing on the cake was when I contacted Cymax customer support. The agent (Jonathan) was rude, unhelpful and terminated the chat session while I was still talking.
I will never use them again.

Buyer Beware

This company is a total scam; one star is too good of a rating. After speaking with two customer service reps, both assuring me that everything would go smoothly, I placed my order. One day later without warning, the order was canceled. The “explanation”, was that the item couldn’t be shipped to my area, and that the company was unable to fulfill my order. Within 24 hours, I was bilked out of almost $800. Within 24 hours, the website no longer existed; the phone number was unanswered. It took a week, several emails, and a BBB complaint (who rates them as A+), I received a full refund.

Worst Company Ever!!

Worst company ever, don't waste your time. They never pick up the phone or answer any emails. I ordered a drafting stool, it was very uncomfortable. Their return policy states you can return any item if you're not fully satisfied. The catch is, they never answer their emails and you can't reach them by phone, so you can't return anything. I've been trying to reach them for two weeks, many emails, many phone calls. The stool was about $225. I seem to be stuck with it because they won't respond. Now I'm going to have to get my bank involved and possibly the Better Business Bureau. Terrible experience.

Promises promises...

We will never NEVER do business with this company again. Ordered a couch was promised a delivery date in two week. It took them two weeks to process the order. Today a month later one of three pieces show up the others pending. What does that mean? The price may be tempting but trust me buy somewhere else they will drag you on forever with no answers. See photo guess we could sit on the one ‍

Cymax is Garbage

I ordered a couch through Cymax with estimated delivery being only two weeks away it seemed like a good deal. Fast forward a month and I still have no couch. There is no way to contact them other than email. They respond with vague responses that do not solve anything. I've been on and off the phone with Metropolitan who handles their shipping and that has been a disaster in itself. Overall this has been a terrible experience and I encourage no one to buy from this company. Cymax is an absolute disgrace.

Canceled Thanksgiving 2020

I ordered a new dinning room table on 10/25. Today is 11/24 and I have been forced to cancel my family Thanksgiving. I have spent 5 days, 4x a day, on the phone with Metropolitan Shipping who has held my table hostage since 11/3. Cymax refunded me $100 for the inconvenience of not receiving the $1300 table and having to cancel a major holiday. They also wanted to charge me for returning a table I never received. The best I can hope for now is to receive this table in pristine condition.

STAY AWAY - does not deliver their commitment

Its been 3 weeks since i placed my order and cannot talk live to anyone - only through emails who say - we are working on it. Took my money well before delivery -- do not recommend. Spent more time trying to resolve this when it was worth
